10 Things You Need to Do After Beating the Game

God Of War Ragnarok is a fantastic game, offering an intricate and epic narrative throughout Kratos and Atreus’ journey toward stopping Ragnarok. While the final hours of the game offer a worthy end to the incredible Norse saga for Kratos and Atreus, the game continues on after the initial credits roll, giving Kratos the chance to continue exploring the realms, wrapping up unfinished business, and saying his goodbyes to a fantastic setting.

There are some must-see events in the post-game of Ragnarok, and most of them you won’t know about until you stumble across them in your travels.

10 Hunt Down Odin’s Ravens

Just like in the previous game, you have another batch of Odin’s Ravens lurking around the different realms. In God of War (2018), collecting all of Odin’s Ravens was a trophy, but it offered little satisfaction beyond that. In God of War Ragnarok, hunting down all 48 Odin’s Ravens not only rewards you with pieces of armor and powerful gear items, but after ‘turning in’ all 48 in Niflheim, you will unlock a secret boss fight: The Raven Keeper.

This boss is one of Odin’s acolytes and is responsible for creating the green ethereal ravens you’ve been hunting down since 2018. Defeat her to earn a powerful Relic.

9 Find Skjoldr In Midgard

Kratos, Mimir, and Freya can encounter Skjoldr -- Atreus’ mortal friend from Asgard – while traveling in Midgard. Specifically, you’ll come across Skjoldr near The Derect Outpost Mystic Gateway in Midgard. Do you remember the coin Odin gave Atreus as payment for damaging Kratos and Atreus’ house near the start of the game? Kratos threw the coin far away when they first left.

Well, Skjoldr found it embedded in a rockface. He’s busying himself trying to pry the coin from the stone. Revisit him a few times for some updated dialogue. Ragnarok’s post-credits endgame is full of these little interactions. You aren’t led toward them by questlines; they’re simply rewards for journeying through the world post-Ragnarok.
