Ordering food straight to your door without having to leave your house is wonderful. But some food delivery apps’ extra fees take away that wonderful feeling. Luckily, when you order from Uber Eats, plenty of restaurants near you offer free delivery. Your options depend on your location.

Look for a banner on the scrolling carousel at the top of the Uber Eats app or website. You can click through to find local restaurants offering $0 delivery at that time. You can also type the words “free delivery” into the search bar. Some restaurants will have a green banner on their photo with “$0 Delivery Fee (Spend $XX)” in the upper left corner. That means you simply have to spend a minimum amount on your order to qualify for free delivery. They're updated daily and even hourly, so be on the lookout for those.

You can also find restaurants offering free delivery on the Uber Eats website. If you don't see them right away, you can use the "Max Delivery Fee" tool on the left side of the homepage. Slide the button toward $1, and a list of restaurants offering $0 delivery fees will appear on the screen. If you see the food you want, place your order, and save a few bucks on delivery.
