American rapper and TV host Vanilla Ice (né Robert Matthew Van Winkle) was born on Oct. 31, 1967. He rose to fame after the release of his 1990 album To the Extreme, featuring the hits "Ice Ice Baby" and "Play That Funky Music."
He later transitioned to acting and reality TV, starring on Magnolia Network's The Vanilla Ice Project about his construction career.
