TAMPA, FL. - For the first time in nearly 20-years, Supercross is coming back to Tampa. The Monster Energy AMA Supercross will make a stop at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, February 24.

Organizers say they try to make each stop on the tour unique to that region, and with Tampa Bay being known for its beautiful beaches, an entire section of the track is being made from fine sand.
“We planned this just to be a Tampa flavor really, it's what we're calling it,” said Director of Operations, Tim Phend. “This is going to change every time (the riders) come through it, and if you don't stay on the gas, your front end falls into that sand, and it's going to take you down.”
The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Pit-Party starts at noon on Saturday, and the races start at 6:30 p.m.
