Alanna Janel Rizzo, popularly known as Alanna Rizzo, was born on August 8, 1975, in the city of Colorado. She was raised by her mother, Maria Medina, while her father’s name is still a mystery.

Regarding her siblings, she grew up with two brothers, Anthony Rizzo, and John Rizzo. As for her nationality, Alanna is American, while her ethnicity is white.

Rizzo went to Sierra High School, located in Colorado Springs, where she participated in track and cross country. She was also inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.  

After her graduation, she earned an undergraduate degree in international business, but her interest slowly shifted from the business world.

She returned to the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she received an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism in 2003.
