Ali Wong and Justin Hakuta to Split After Seven Year's of Marriage

After seven years of marriage and two children, comedian Ali Wong and her husband, former GoodRx VP Justin Hakuta, have announced they are divorcing.

The news was confirmed by Ali Wong’s representative on Tuesday April 18, with a source telling People that the split is amicable and they will continue to co-parent lovingly.

Wong and Hakuta, who signed a prenup, will need to work out custody arrangements for their six-year-old daughter Mari and four-year-old daughter Nikki.

The couple first met at a friend’s wedding reception in 2010 and immediately hit it off. Ali and Hakuta tied the knot in San Francisco on November 27, 2014, and later welcomed their two daughters, Mari in 2015 and Nikki in 2017.

During her Netflix stand-up special Baby Cobra in 2016, Wong humorously shared the story of how she “trapped” her husband by not kissing him until the fifth date, citing his attendance at Harvard Business School as a reason to “trap his a–.”
