Take out the parentheses and the curly braces, neither are required when adding columns.
You need to remove the brackets
ALTER TABLE Countries
ADD
HasPhotoInReadyStorage bit,
HasPhotoInWorkStorage bit,

this should work in T-SQL
ALTER TABLE Countries ADD
HasPhotoInReadyStorage bit,

Also, you are missing commas:
