Known as the Drug Lord of Mexico, Amado Carrillo Fuentes was born in December 17, 1956 in Sinaloa, Mexico. He headed Juárez Cartel, and succeeded the earlier lord Rafael Aguilar Guajardo. Also came to be known as the lord of skies “El Señor de Los Cielos” as he used large fleet of jets to transport the drugs. He was regarded as one of the strongest drug trafficker in Mexico. He died in a hospital of Mexico in July 3, 1997, while undergoing an extensive plastic surgery in order to change his appearance.

Amando Fuentes Parents – Vicente Carrillo and Aurora Fuentes

Amado Carrillo Fuentes was born to Vicente Carrillo and Aurora Fuentes. The couple was blessed with six sons and five daughters. Vicente Carrillo Vega died in April 1986 under mysterious circumstances; reports suggested that police shot him down. Aurora Fuentes lived in the community of El Guamuchilito, where she and her family had the Aurora property of corns and beans. His mother Aurora Fuentes Aguirre passed away on July 11, 2014 at an age of 78. She died of kidney complications at the Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
