Andy Murray – Family, Family Tree

Andy Murray is a qualified tennis player from Scotland who ranked in second position in World tennis tournament. He won grand slam, Olympics and David cup. He defeated Roger Federer at 2012 Olympic games and won gold medal in men’s single final, and became the first British singles champion in over 100 years. He is the brother of Jamie Murray.

Early Life

He was born on 15th May 1987 in Glasgow, Scotland. Murray began his career at age three when his mother Judy took him to play on local courts. Murray grew up in Dunblane and attended Dunblane primary school. He and his brother were present during Dunblane school massacre in 1996 which killed 16 children by Thomas Hamilton. Murray was trained at rangers club but later decided to move to Barcelona, Spain. When he moved to Schiller international school he was trained on the clay courts of Sanchez Casal Academy. His parents had to find huge sum of money to play for his eighteen months stay.
