Formal certification is voluntary for the medical scribe profession in California. However, certification illustrates your commitment to succeed at your future California healthcare provider.

Do scribes need training?

Medical scribes receive no formal medical training and are only there to deal with some of the administrative work. They may assist nurses in organizing patient files, updating records and retrieving important medical data.

Are Scribeamerica scribes certified?
