How long should a First Communion veil be?
There are different lengths of communion veils. A 19.5" veil falls almost to the shoulders. A 36" veil will reach the elbow/wrist area. A 45" veil falls approximately to the hip.
How should you dress for a first communion?
When attending a First Communion, keep in mind that you will be in a church. Therefore, you should wear attire that is “church appropriate.” Think modest. Do wear: Collared shirts, button-up shirts, ties, dress pants, dress shoes or loafers are appropriate for men and young boys.
