Best Beach Camping Sites in the U. S. — Camp on the Beach

This rural mid-Atlantic island is a haven for nature lovers, as it's home to more than 300 species of birds—and a famous herd of wild ponies. Note that camping is only available within the Maryland area of the preserve.
