Bob Barker spent most of his youth on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota as he is an official member of the Sioux tribe. During his college years, he served in the United States Navy as a fighter pilot on the outbreak of WWII, and once the war was over, he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics.
He spent almost all of his career as a game show host, most popular being The Price is Right which he hosted from 1972 to 2007.
In 1945, he married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Jo Gideon, and they remained married until her death in 1981. The two didn't have children and Baker hasn't remarried.
He was, however, involved in a romantic relationship with Dian Parkinson, the model on the show The Price is Right. She later filed a lawsuit against Barker alleging sexual harassment.
