Renowned personality Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made the difficult decision to cancel his upcoming birthday celebration as a tribute to his late father.

As he approaches his 32nd birthday on August 31st, Bobrisky shared on Instagram that he will be calling off the festivities in order to focus on organizing a grand funeral for his father in 41 days.

Expressing immense grief over his father’s passing, Bobrisky revealed that he has been inconsolable since receiving the tragic news, emphasizing the unbearable pain of losing a parent regardless of age.

“I have decided to cancel my birthday party and instead, I will be laying my dad to rest in 41 days. He passed away at the age of 78.

I have cried and cried until I have no more tears. No matter how old our parents are, we never want to let them go.

On Monday afternoon, Bobrisky made the heartbreaking announcement about his father’s passing on his Snapchat profile without disclosing the cause of death.

He wrote, “Guys, I lost my dad this morning.”

A recent visit to his Instagram page revealed that most of his posts had been removed, with only six remaining, the latest one dating back four days ago.
