Before making his debut in 1991 under the ring name Mongo Vyle, LoMonaco was trained by Jonny Rodz. In 1995, he had a tryout with ECW and played Mongo, Bill Alfonso’s bodyguard.

After impressing Paul Heyman, the owner of ECW, he was renamed Buh Buh Ray Dudley. Ray formed The Dudley Boyz with Big Dick, Sign Guy Dudley, and D-Von.

They spent the majority of their time in TNA.The Dudley Boyz returned to WWE on August 24, 2015, reclaiming their character and defeating a slew of other superstars before they announced their departure from WWE at Summerslam.
