Can Holidays Be Prefixed to Joining Time?

NOTE—(2) It is not permissible to prefix holidays to joining time in any circumstances.

Who are eligible for joining time?

Government servants who are discharged due to reduction of establishment in one office reappointed to another Government office, shall be entitled to joining time if the orders of appointment to the new post are received by them while working in the old post.

Can earned leave be combined with joining time?

7.7 Joining time can be combined with earned leave but not with Casual Leave. 7.8 Joining time may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the authority competent to transfer an employee.
