Can't Activate Dwarven Armillary?

PS3 When trying to place the Crystal in the Oculory, the Dwarven armillary may not be able to be activated because "Activate Dwarven armillary" does not appear as an option. A possible solution is to update the game to at least patch 1.6.

How do I activate the Oculory in Skyrim?

The trick is to press the button on each pedestal so the panels shift sideways until one of the blue mirrors lines up with the light beam. The beam then ricochets off and up to the ceiling mirror. When all three light beams hit the ceiling, you know the Oculary is focused properly.

How do I align the Oculory?

Look up to put the crystal in, use your flame/cold spells to manipulate the light so it hits three separate parts of the ceiling, and then use the three buttons to adjust the circles on the roof to align with the scattered light.
