Clean your aligner with a toothpaste and toothbrush, but choose a gentle formula and brush. Use a very soft-bristled toothbrush, an all-purpose toothpaste (one formulated for children works well) and always brush the aligner lightly and gently. Clean your aligner with a denture cleaner tablet.

What toothpaste is best for Invisalign?

We recommend the Crest 3D “Vivid White” Mouthrinse. This is a clear rinse and it bubbles to help clean the aligners. When you brush your teeth, you can use the tooth brush and tooth paste to clean the aligners as well. It is very easy to lose the aligners.

Does toothpaste make Invisalign cloudy?

It's best not to use toothpaste on your aligners which is abrasive and will make them look cloudy. Never use hot water since it can warp the plastic and botch the fit. You could add a few drops of dish soap to this method if you wish. But remember to rinse well before using them again.
