Can You Write a Testable Hypothesis?

Requirements for a Testable Hypothesis
In order to be considered testable, two criteria must be met: It must be possible to prove that the hypothesis is true. It must be possible to prove that the hypothesis is false. It must be possible to reproduce the results of the hypothesis.

How do we know if a hypothesis is testable?

In short, a hypothesis is testable if there is a possibility of deciding whether it is true or false based on experimentation by anyone. This allows to decide whether a theory can be supported or refuted by data. However, the interpretation of experimental data may be also inconclusive or uncertain.

Is every hypothesis testable?

A hypothesis may be testable, but even that isn't enough for it to be a scientific hypothesis. In addition, it must be possible to show that the hypothesis is false if it really is false.
