At the age of seven, she studied dance, became a popular child model at the age of ten (eventually posing for New York's Sears & Roebuck department store) and had her image nationally known as the ' Coca-Cola Girl. 'Carol was born in New York City to Carole Ann Jones, to Frances Fuller (Felch), of New England, and to Cyril Roland Jones, who was an Irish immigrant.
