Christmas Eve at Keawala‘i Church | News, Sports, Jobs

The Annual Christmas Eve Service at historic Keawala’i Congregational Church – United Church of Christ will be held on Sunday, Dec. 24, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on the grounds of the church. The outdoor service includes the church choir under the direction of Cameron Keys along with featured special guest musicians Anthony Pfluke and Jamie Lawrence. Hula and the beauty of a Makena sunset will accent our celebration of the birth of Jesus. Our program will include many familiar carols in English and Hawaiian.

Seating will be provided for 500. Please dress for the weather. Parking will be available in the church overflow parking lot and along Makena Road. Please note: Honoiki Road is currently closed. A detour will clearly mark the only way to get to Keawala’i Congregational Church via Makena Road. This road passes by Makena Landing.
