Fans took to Twitter to complain that they were stuck in an endless loop as they tried to update Clash of Clans. One user had discovered a workaround which was then shared by the official Clash of Clans Twitter account.

If you’re on an Android device, follow the steps below to fix the annoying update loop:

• Navigate to the Google Play/App Store.
• Search for ‘Clash of Clans’.
• Select the ‘Events & Offers’ button.
• Select ‘Update’ to kick the loop.
