The 36-years-of-age meteorologist was born with the name Pedram “P.J.” Javaheri on 24 May 1983 in Tehran, Iran. He was raised by his Iranian parents, who relocated to Redmond, Washington, the United States, in October 1993.

Upon his move to the United States, Pedram attended elementary school and high school for his early education. In the meantime, he was fascinated by media and journalism since his young age. As a result, he received quite a tremendous support from his family to caress his career in what he liked the best.

With the hopes of making something out of his dreams, Pedram moved on to college at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. Eventually, he attended Mississippi State University where he obtained degrees in broadcast journalism and meteorology.

Meteorologist Career At CNN

Pedram joined CNN International in June 2010. Since, he handles the metrological department of the media network. Besides, Padram is also seen regularly on editions of CNN Newsroom and World Business Today. Moreover, he also fills in on HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Marde and makes his appearance on CNN U.S. during breaking news and severe weather coverage.

The talented media personnel began his career as a weather anchor at Arizona State University in 2002. One week prior to his graduation, he landed the position as a meteorologist in Utah at KCSG. Meantime, from 2008 to 2010, he went on to serve as the environmental reporter and meteorologist for KCOY, KKFX, KION, and KCBA.

As of now, he serves for CNN International based at CNN World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
