Computer Won't Boot. Error: Boot Device Not Found. Install Operating System

I had a laptop with Windows 7… i decided to replace it with Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. I formatted the whole hard drive and installed Ubuntu afresh. The laptop had qualified for installation as it has 4GB RAM and more than 200GB SDD storage. However, after successful installation, I restarted my computer as prompted by the installer and an error comes up

Boot device not found. Please install an operating system in your hard drive.

During the restart I obviously had the live USB ejected from the laptop.

I need this for my work really urgently. Please help.

I created the live USB using Rufus software. (I have included also this, just so that you can have full info.)
