David Kwong is a magician, puzzle creator, writer, and producer. An illusionist, Kwong is known for designing illusions for film and television and for functioning as a consultant and producer in the field. Productions that he has been involved with include the films Now You See Me (head magic consultant) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. Kwong also frequently contributes to and writes crossword puzzles for the New York Times along with crossword puzzle editor Will Shortz. Kwong gave a TED Talk on illusion and puzzles at the TED 30th anniversary conference in Vancouver in March of 2014.
