Member of the famous Bichir family, Demian Bichir is a Mexican-American actor well known for his role, Carlos Galindo in an American drama film "A Better Life". His performance was widely appreciated and he became the second Mexican ever to be nominated for an Oscar. He starred in the movie "In the Time of the Butterflies" in 2001 which was his first American film and appeared alongside Salma Hayek.
