Destiny 2 1.33 Update Patch Notes | What’s new in the Destiny 2 2.20 update?
As this is the first big Destiny 2 update since version 2.1.4 back in January, there are a lot of changes to talk about. Firstly, the 1.33 (2.20) update brings with it a new Season. The Season of the Drifter will be live as soon as you have downloaded the update. It brings with it new challenges, Flashpoints, Rewards, and more. A new Season in Destiny 2 is always big news. The Season of the Drifter is no different. Thanks to Bungie.net, we know that the Season of the Drifter will bring with it several new changes and features. Of course, new pinnacle weapons play a part in the new Season and update. That’s just the start. A familiar forest will be re-introduced with tonnes of fresh loot to pilfer.
Owners of the Destiny 2 Annual Pass will have access to the second endgame extension. The Drifter will now act as your dealer and offer new changes to the Gambit game. You’ll also see new interactions and alliances with the Nine introduced.

Tower
- The Tower Annex Landing Zone is now available to all players
- The Drifter has relocated to the Annex in the Tower
Clans
- Daily clan bounties have been removed
- Once again, clan XP in Season 6 can be earned simply by completing activities
- Clan weekly bounties have been renamed to “Hawthorne’s Bounties” to differentiate them from the raid challenges that are also in Hawthorne’s inventory
- These Hawthorne Bounties are organized into 3 fixed categories: PvE, PvP, and raid
- Raid challenge bounties will continue to be available on Hawthorne for the Last Wish and Scourge of the Past raids
- Some new clan perks have been added for Season 6, and some old clan perks have returned
- Level 2 Perk: Increased public event rewards
- Level 3 Perk: Completing a weekly Hawthorne bounty awards mod components
- Level 4 Perk: Completing a clan vendor challenge awards enhancement cores
- Level 5 Perk: Increases the drop rate of Crucible and strike catalysts when playing with clanmates
- Level 6 Perk: Unlocks an additional weekly bounty for Hawthorne
