Scar's hatred for Mufasa is so deep that he even made it illegal for anyone to mention his name in his presence, particularly in terms of favoritism. Despite being killed by Scar, Mufasa doesn't seem to hold any grudge against his younger brother never getting mad when Scar's name is mentioned.
