Do Narwhals Swim in Pods

Narwhals can travel in small pods that can be 2-3 animals as well as pods that are several hundreds of whales. Pod sizes range widely and can consist of both males and females, or all-female or all-male pods. Narwhals can dive more than a mile under the sea when the surface is covered in more than 99% sea ice.
