Do Three Have Their Own Masts?

Coverage: Three's 4G signal is still a bit of a weakness
Three own and operate their own mobile network, separate from Vodafone, O2 and EE. They don't rely on anyone else for signal (like virtual operators who piggyback on other networks do).

Does Three have its own masts?

Our network is made up of thousands of sites built across the country that house several antennas (or masts) that provide a signal for that specific area. You can check your coverage or find out latest information on any network issues using our coverage checker.

What mast does 3 network use?

Three uses the 800MHz, 1400MHz and 1800MHz bands for 4G. The 800MHz band can travel over long distances, making it a good fit for rural locations, where masts are often spread far apart. But it can also do a good job of penetrating walls, making it great for bringing 4G indoors.
