Toilet height is measured from the floor to the top of the seat. Heights vary enough to be noticeable. Most often, they fall somewhere between 15” and 19”, with standard toilets coming in under 17”. However, chair height toilets, what Kohler refers to as Comfort Height® toilets, measure 17” or more.
Can you get different height toilets?
That’s when an ADA or comfort height toilet can make a difference. A standard size toilet will have a seat height of between 15 to less than 17 inches. So a comfort height toilet will rightfully provide an additional 3 to 4 inches in height.
How many different toilet heights are there?
