Does Fernandina Beach Smell?

Newcomers and visitors to Nassau County and Fernandina Beach are not always aware of much about our two local mills other than their smokestacks occasional occasionally emit whiffs of unusual, chemical based odors.

Does Amelia Island smell bad?

There are two paper mills on the island and you can smell them depending on where you live and which way the wind is blowing. It's not that bad. You get used to it. ;) Usually when the air is really stagnant/calm, which is rare, and from the southwest/westerly.

Is Fernandina Beach Clean?

The island was great! The people are friendly. Lots of things to see and do.
