Does God Literally Forget Our Sins?

This truth is repeatedly affirmed in Scripture. According to the psalmist, God has removed our sin from us as far as east is from west (Psalm 103:12). ... When God forgives our sin he puts it out of his mind; he erases it from the pages of time; he forgets it.

8:12; 10:16-17). When God forgives our sins; He forgets them. That means He no longer holds our sins against us.

Can you be forgiven for sins you don't remember?

And now our sins can be completely forgiven -- all of them. The Bible says, "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy" (Titus 3:5). Ask Christ to come into your life today, and trust Him alone for your salvation. Then thank God for forgiving you of all your sins.
