Does Mksap Count for Moc?

MKSAP 18. MKSAP 18 provides CME credits and MOC points per each section of content you complete. The credit/points each section is worth depends on its length.

Is ABIM MOC required?

While maintaining certification is not mandatory, ABIM encourages physicians to participate in MOC as evidence of their commitment to lifelong learning.

Are MOC points the same as CME?

Although MOC Part 2 points and CME credits often overlap, note that they are not the same. The standards set by the ABP and the ACCME are different, so not all activities eligible for CME credit are also eligible for MOC credit.
