Does Nephrite Come Back to Life?

In the first anime, Nephrite is the first villain to show redeeming qualities. As such, he is the first character to reform in the franchise, but didn't live to start a new life. It is revealed in his final episode, Nephrite's blood is green.

Does Nephrite die?

Unfortunately, faster than you can say “chocolate parfait,” Zoisite's minions show up and attack, and the first time Nephrite implements his new theories of behavior is his last. He dies saving Naru's life in one of the most heart-rending moments of the entire Sailor Moon franchise.

Who killed Nephrite?

In the end, however, Zoisite used Naru's love for Nephrite as a trap. Zoisite gathered three Youma, kidnapped Naru, and Nephrite (scarcely believing his own behavior) rescued her. Zoisite followed the pair and had one of his Youma stab Nephrite.
