Does Park Assist Really Work?

Although many experienced drivers have no qualms about tricky parking, less skilled drivers often take up more space than is needed. Park Assist not only guides vehicles into tight spaces, but it also reduces the disruption to traffic flow in larger cities.

Is Park assist any good?

In our testing, we've found that Park Assist generally works very well, but that it's far more successful in car parks with symmetrical spaces than in more haphazard locations. Self-parking systems can also be confused when parallel parking on curved roads.

Can You Trust park assist?

The AAA report noted that parking assist could be especially useful for elderly drivers, who may have trouble twisting their body as needed during normal parking maneuvers.
