Can you add subchannels in Slack?

2 Answers. No, you can not have channels within a channel in Slack. As a workaround you could name the channels in a way that they reflect sub-channels. This is also what Slack recommends on its documentation page about Organizing and naming channels.

Does @everyone work in Slack?

@channel alerts anyone who has joined the channel whether they are online or not. @all alerts everyone in the group, also whether they are online or offline. @here alerts anyone that is currently signed into Slack. We prefer that you use @here because Skillcrushers are all over the world and your 2pm may be their 2am!
