Does Sonic Do Malts?

Sonic is known as "America's Drive-In" but has discontinued the most iconic American frozen treat: the malt. Since they were introduced, malts have been elevating the simple milkshake to levels of heavenly perfection.

Does Sonic still make malts?

No malts. I don't often indulge in ice cream based beverages, but when I do, I want a malt, not one of those flavor deprived milk shakes. So, I was very disappointed today when I was told,at this Sonic, that they no longer serve malts. Fortunately, there's a DQ a block away that serves a well made malt.

Why did Sonic discontinue malts?

Since they were introduced, malts have been elevating the simple milkshake to levels of heavenly perfection. Today, Sonic has sadly discarded this classic in favor of more flashy, novelty drinks like Pickle Slushes.
