Eddie worked at his father’s restaurants in addition to his numerous occupations, where he learnt cooking skills from several chefs that worked at his father’s restaurant. As time passed, he began working as an expeditor and absorbing information from his environment.

Following the move of his original shop to 238 East 14th Street in the East Village, Eddie finally established his restaurant under the name BaoHaus, a Taiwanese bun shop, in December 2009.

Eddie Huang Age, Brothers & Family:

Eddie Huang was born on March 1, 1982, in New York City, to Taiwanese immigrants Jessica and Louis Huang. When it came to his family, his parents’ ancestral residences were in mainland China’s Hunan and Shandong.

They later relocated to Washington, DC, where Eddie grew up with his brothers Emery and Evan Huang. His family then relocated to Orlando, Florida, where his father worked as a restaurant manager.

Eddie was bullied and had a lot of problems as a kid since he was overweight for his age. His parents were also aware of it, which disturbed him greatly.

He became insecure about his height, weight, and appearance as a result of the bullies. His peers were similarly racist toward him, and he was frequently involved in fights as a result.

Despite his difficulties, he did not neglect to obtain an education. From Rollins College, he earned a B.A. in English and Film.
