During her Lazard tenure, Ms. Alva was selected for the Council on Foreign Relations’ Corporate Leaders Program, which recognizes accomplished professionals on a senior management track and links business leaders with decision makers in government and academia. Prior to joining Lazard, Ms. Alva worked at a development stage company focused on engineering-based solutions to improve industrial waste processing systems. More recently, Ms. Alva has served as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Alumnae Board of Directors of Barnard College.
