Vincent Enyeama, former Super Eagles goalkeeper, commended the management of Akwa United for their professional approach in overseeing the club’s affairs.
During his visit to the club’s office in Uyo on Monday, the 41-year-old, who began his career with the Promise Keepers, encouraged Akwa United and aspiring footballers to remain focused and dedicated while relying on God for strength.

Expressing his impression of the current structure, he remarked, “I am truly impressed with the organizational setup I have witnessed. It was not like this during my time, and I can see significant changes.”
“With individuals like Elder Paul Bassey as the Chairman, I didn’t expect anything less. Elder Bassey has a remarkable touch,” he added. “Even during my time with the national team, he was one of the senior journalists who garnered immense respect from players and officials.”
