The website had generated $5.2 million in revenue and $1.6 million in profit the year before. Eric and Neil would have each received $7.5 million pre-tax, or roughly $4 million after tax. They were also eligible for bonuses and earnouts, which could have reached up to $52.5 million over three years if certain goals were met.
