Expedition basics in New World

Expeditions in New World are instanced PvE dungeons, intended for a group of 5 players with the appropriate level of experience. Expeditions are the equivalent of Multiplayer Dungeons known from MMO games.

Each of the Expeditions is described by a separate story, it consists in solving puzzles and fighting with unique mini-bosses and Bosses for unique loot. You can access the Expedition after reaching the 25th experience level.

  • This digsite must be unearthed!
  • Explore the excavation.
  • Use the Azoth Staff to undo the Azoth Seal and unlock the gate.
  • Find Simon Grey's investigation of the Ancient's Technology.
  • Restore the Bridge Mechana.
  • Use the Azoth Staff to translate the Azoth Scripts in the Excavated Caverns. Hidden within the Azoth Scripts is a clue to unlocking the Bridge Mechana.
  • Find the Broken Vestibule. The Azoth Script indicates a power source is located in the chamber.
  • Activate the Vestibule's Azoth Seal to restore the Bridge Mechana.
  • Defeat the Vestibule Chamber's Guardians.
  • Activate the Bridge Mechana.
  • Defeat the Abomination and Find the Hallowed Candle.
  • Continue to explore the excavation.
  • Place the Hallowed Candle on the Spectral Shrine.
  • Defeat Foreman Nakashima and the Lost Workers.
  • Find What Remains Of Simon Grey.
  • Defeat Simon Grey!
  • Return to the surface to pursue the truth of Simon's research.
