Jordan Lawlar is an American professional baseball player who currently serves as a shortstop in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

The Arizona Diamondbacks chose him as the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.

The player played at four different levels in 2022, reaching Double-A Amarillo by the end of the season.

Jordan has also been selected for the 2022 All-Star Futures Game and the Arizona Fall League. He is expected to reach the majors by 2024.

Jordan is ranked as MLB’s 11th-best overall prospect and the second-best prospect in the Arizona system, behind only outfielder Corbin Carroll.

Eric Lawlar is a former NFL player who played as a wide receiver.

He was born in Bellevue, Washington. He played college football at Harvard University, where he was a two-time All-Ivy League selection and a team captain in 2004.

Eric had 1,268 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his college career. Any NFL team did not draft him, but he signed as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks in 2005.

The Seahawks later released him, and did not play in any regular season games. Eric has mentored and advised his son, who inherited his athletic talent and work ethic.
