Here's a look at celebrities who have survived and spoken about their journey.

Vanessa Bayer

The former SNL alum was diagnosed with the disease at age 15. She eventually beat the cancer during her senior year of high school, and even had a end-of-chemo party.

"I think the most important thing with someone with cancer or any kind of illness is just to say something. And just remember that it's the same person and they're still your friend or your colleague," she told Huffington Post in 2018.

Roman Reigns

The WWE star was diagnosed with leukemia in 2008 at the age of 22.

Despite going into remission, Reigns announced in 2018 that it had returned, which forced him to relinquish his title.

"Because the leukemia is back, I can't fulfill my role. I can't be that fighting champion and I'm going to have to relinquish the universal championship," he said, though he's since returned to the ring.
