Type-Moon and Nasuverse fans get hype, a brand new entry in Fate, the legendary franchise that started with Fate/stay night, has been announced with a first character key visual reveal.
The official Twitter account of Comptiq announced on April 5, 2022, a brand new series in the Fate franchise. This new series happens to be novels, with a detailed introduction to be included in the next Type-Moon Magazine released on April 12.
Fate is Getting Brand New Novels – First Details and Character Reveal
The new Fate novel series will be written by Hikaru Sakurai. In the past, she was a director and scenarist at Liar Soft who most notably worked on Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning, available on Steam. Hikaru Sakurai was also one of the writers of Fate/Extella.
The novel’s illustrations will be handled by Shirow Miwa, who did the character design of JRPGs 7th Dragon and the upcoming Soul Hackers 2.

A first key visual for the new Fate series was revealed, featuring a new character with white hair and blue eyes, alongside what looks like horns. Part of the Japanese Fate fanbase on Twitter believes the new character is related to Brynhildr. Especially seeing Shirow Miwa was the character designer of Brynhildr in FGO.
