Can Windows 7 be 64Bit?

The Windows 7 product key will activate both 32 and 64Bit versions, so that is not an issue. However since your key was already activated, you may need to activate by phone this time around (see the end of my response). Upgrading from a 32Bit to 64Bit version requires a “Custom” / Clean install of Windows.
