How do I save my current BIOS?
Enter the BIOS with the flash drive plugged in. When you hit F3 in order to save profiles, there should be at the bottom the option “Select File in HDD/FDD/USB”. Click it and you should have the possibility to select your flash drive and save the current profile.
Should you keep your BIOS up to date?
In general, you shouldn’t need to update your BIOS that often. Installing (or “flashing”) a new BIOS is more dangerous than updating a simple Windows program, and if something goes wrong during the process, you could end up bricking your computer.
