Galaxy Note 3 "Mobile Network State Disconnected"

Hi guys,,
I rooted (only root, haven't flashed anything) my TMobile galaxy note 3 (sm-N900T) and bought an unlock code online and unlocked it. When I put my Cricket wireless sim in, it works except for no data. In my status menu, it says "mobile network state disconnected", I make and receive calls, texts, etc. But only when the WiFi is on can I browse the internet. Is there a fix for this? I would so appreciate anyone's help.
