Likewise, his mom, Holly, is no stranger to the tennis court, having played at Mercer University.

Gordon’s tennis skills took him far, even earning him a spot in the Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd” section in May 1977.

During his senior year at Flagler, Gordon led his team to victory in the NAIA tennis championship, clinching both the singles and doubles titles.

After his pro tennis days, he switched gears and became an attorney at Jones & McCorkle in Jacksonville, Florida. And guess what? His wife, Holly, is his partner in both law and life.

Mac Jones has two siblings

The rising NFL star has an older sister and an older brother.

Sarah Jane Jones, his older sister, is no stranger to the tennis court either, having played during her time at the College of Charleston.

Sarah majored in International Business while there, and she’s a go-getter. After graduating in 2018, she’s been pursuing an MBA at Alabama.

She’s setting her sights on using her skills in international business, inspired by none other than her dad, Gordon Jones.

Interestingly, both Mac and Sarah have a flair for languages. Mac, in particular, has been studying Chinese for several years.

He once mentioned, “I speak Chinese. I’ve been taking it for four or five years. I could go to China and be fine, obviously, I don’t know some stuff, but I’m pretty solid.” Now, that’s pretty impressive from a football star.

As for his older brother, Will Jones, he attended Mercer University and was quite a soccer enthusiast during his college days.

Since his Mercer days, he’s embarked on a journey to med school in “the islands.” Looks like the Jones siblings are a bunch of overachievers!
